A 5-year-old Tik Tok sensation from Moga, Noorpreet Kaur (Noor), has made it to the popularity charts with her amusing one-liners and is helping the Punjab Government ensure social distancing amid the COVID-19 lockdown through her videos.
Noor is the daughter of a daily wage earner from Bhinder Kalan village in Moga.
In her latest video, she can be seen complaining to Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh about a group of boys proceeding to play cricket amid the lockdown, ignoring Noor’s warning to stay home. In his reply, the Chief Minister is seen telling the boys to adhere to the lockdown guidelines.
The social media team of the Chief Minister said the video has been widely appreciated. The Indian youth congress, while sharing the video on its social media platform stated: “If a little kid can understand that the lockdown has been lifted for only for doing very important things & not for fun activities, surely we all can understand it too! Do not step out unless necessary.”
Noor, who can be seen in the avatar of a young Sikh boy in the videos, had earlier teamed up with the Moga police to spread the message of social distancing.
